Prophetic Word taken from Elijah List: Small Straws In A Soft Wind by Marsha Burns
I speak to those who have been laid bare and are wide open. Your level of vulnerability has been frightening at best, but now is the time for healing and building up. (Ecclesiastes 3:3)

FOCUS: The purpose of this section is to help different members of the body of Christ become more familiar with the functions of each other.
Our Focus for this issue is Worship Pastors/Leaders. Barb Young is a seasoned worship leader from Living Word Fellowship in Voluntown, CT.
We stopped at the Post Office and there I found your newsletter. J I also had put the Easter Story Cookie Recipe in our church newsletter. I also liked the input of Psalm 34. I am going to add that to my list!
Elizabeth Haslet re-wrote Psalm 34 as a prayer as a response to studying the book "The Power of a Praying Wife" by Stormie Omartian. I asked her permission to include it in this issue as I felt it would be a blessing to use as she wrote it--or as an example to use with other scriptures to pray for our loved ones. We pray it is a blessing! It can be adapted for anyone.
PSALM 34
The Happiness of Those Who Trust in God-prayer for my husband
1 Lord please help my husband bless your name at all times; Let your praise continually be in his mouth.
Why am I lacking? Why do I have such a need to be loved? Why doesn't my husband understand that I have needs? I feel like I'm at the bottom of his list and there are days that I don't even feel like I'm on his list….
Why do I feel I am of no value? Why do I feel so alone?
My needs? Companionship …Hugs…Listened to…Understood…
Loved by actions and truth…Encouraged…Recognized…Adored… Blessed... Desired…Precious…Secure…Considered Strong…Special…Valued
CHARACTER OF SAINTS
Thought you might enjoy this interesting prayer given in Kansas at the opening session of their Senate. It seems prayer still upsets some people ... sadly.
When Minister Joe Wright was asked to open the new session of the Kansas Senate, everyone was expecting the usual generalities, but this is what they heard:
"Heavenly Father, we come before you today to ask Your forgiveness and to seek Your direction and guidance. We know Your Word says, "Woe to those who call evil good" but that is exactly what we have done. We have lost our spiritual equilibrium and reversed our values.
“And [Jesus] told them a parable to the effect that they ought always pray and not to turn coward (faint, lose heart, and give up).” Luke 18:1 (Amplified) All across the land, we hear the urgent call to prayer. We hear and see the manifestation of the perilous times that were spoken of in II Timothy 3:1, where it says, “but understand this, that in the last days will come (set in) perilous times of great stress and trouble [hard times to deal with and hard to bear]”.
I am privileged to share with you an article written by our friend Jean Stephens. Jean , along with her husband Jim, founders of Resource Ministries.
