Food for thought:  People will forget what you said; People will forget what you did;  But people will never forget how you made them to feel.  Think about it: do you agree or disagree?

In Spring of 2007 the Lord showed me the following vision. I have been encouraged by several folks to post it here for the greater good of the body of Christ. I believe it is primarily for the believers in the New England region (that is where I was when I had the vision), but the application is far reaching wherever the need may be. I present the vision here, and a bit of follow-up discussion in hopes that you or those you know will be encouraged to believe what the Lord is saying and respond to it in faith.

So here we are again in the NE.  And partakers of the fifth season of the year:  Mud Season.  The time when the water soaked frozen ground begins to thaw and turn to jelly.  And I was close up and personal with it in my back yard last week, sinking into the mud on what looked like solid ground.  And once again the Lord used this phenomena to show me something and this time it is about seasonal transitions.

God gives dreams to those that He knows can fulfill them.  On the surface this might look like a "no brainer" statement but lets consider a couple of things before we go running off with "I know that, so what?"  If we have the capacity to dream a dream, to have God given vision, and revelations that concern what we are called to do, then we need to understand that we have been created with the God given capacity to fulfill those same dreams, visions and revelations.  God doesn't make mistakes.  He didn't give your dream to someone else, He gave it to you, a chosen vessel set apart for His purpose. 

This morning as I was getting ready for the day I believe I heard the Lord say, "Get ready for spontaneous combustion."  I have been thinking about this all day.  I believe we are going to see more powerful explosions of God's presence in the coming months than we ever have before.  It will take place at different times and in different places without fanfare announcements, and will surprise and impact many people.

How many things in your past have repetitiously inserted themselves in your life?  How many behaviors have continued that you know are self destructive?  What besetting sin continues to mark your life?  The history of these things can bring a judgment against you and your future.  The judgment has said to you, after all this time you will never change, you will never overcome, you will never be rid of this!

As we cruise into the new year, I habitually wait on the Lord to see if He has anything that will help us to understand the time and season we are entering into so that we can cooperate and walk in step with Him.  Already I am convinced that many of us are entering into a season of new further alignments.  Things are changing.  God changes not. So He can help us align and re-align correctly to maneuver successfully forward and upward to the things He is going to do in our lives this year. 

Seeing in the heart what hasn't been seen with eyes, hearing in the heart what hasn't been heard with ears, grasping in the heart what hasn't been handled by hands, moving in the heart what hasn't been traversed by feet, purchasing in the heart what hasn't been financed by material wealth, building in the heart what hasn't been built in the earth:  this is the heart of visionaries.   Visionaries are the seers of things not yet revealed or manifested.  (1 Corinthians 2:9-10)

My previous blog concerned drift and how it can happen to us and how it can be resisted. This time around I want to share two ways in which we can prevent drift.  They are Sighting and Anchoring.
