Today I have been thinking about the small things.  The small things that can make a huge difference.  The beginning of small things that end up being big things.  And the small things that are all part of the building block of great lives and great ministries.  Not only is God the God of the big picture, the overview, the life view, the vision view, but He is the God of details and specifics.

If ever we needed any proof of God's attention to details, we need look no further than His creation.  In the abundance of His vast variety is an equally vast detailing.  He is interested in the very smallest of details in our lives, as only He can be.  He knows how each one has a bearing on who we are and what we do.  It is not that He is picky, as the way people can be, and yet He is, as only God can be.  I am personally glad for His attention to details.  He has so many times paid attention to details on my behalf that I wasn't even aware of, until afterwords.  And I am so glad He does.  

One last thought.  I think we all need to be careful not to over look the the things that God is paying attention to, especially if we judge it as something small and therefore insignificant.  If God is paying attention to it, then it is not as small as we may be thinking.
