This morning as I was getting ready for the day I believe I heard the Lord say, "Get ready for spontaneous combustion."  I have been thinking about this all day.  I believe we are going to see more powerful explosions of God's presence in the coming months than we ever have before.  It will take place at different times and in different places without fanfare announcements, and will surprise and impact many people.

It will breakthrough the mundane, breakthrough the dull foggy spiritual climates, breakthrough the resistance to advancing the kingdom of God.  In fact it will breakthrough everything that stands in the way of Gods plans. It will empower and release God's people with grace and anointing to see the works of the Lord established as never before. It will bring strong conviction to bear upon those that are dead in their trespasses and sins, and bring them to their knees.  People will be giving their hearts to the Lord in all kinds of settings in and out of the church, and salvation will be accompanied with strong repentance. Healing, deliverance, miracles and signs and wonders will increase.  The glory of the Lord will suddenly come upon those gathered in His name.  He will bring clear revelations that will confound the wisdom of man, and if obeyed will astound the expectations of man.  New relationships will be forged that will bring regional transformation.  People will be moved on to do things they have never done before by the power of the Holy Spirit and see amazing things happen because of their obedience.

I believe our expectations are being enlarged even now as preparation for these God events.  I believe we will be challenged to let go of our scheduled-predetermined programs.  In fact, it will be almost impossible to continue to do business as usual when spontaneous combustion takes place.  We will have gathered for one reason, but be powerfully impacted and moved into a call and purpose of the Lord that He brings into our midst.  We may have come together to have a friendly visit, when all of a sudden the Lord exploded upon the scene with His purpose that will propel us into new dynamics of Spirit filled, Spirit led actions.  

Reports of this spontaneous combustion will break forth in many and different places.  This is going to be the answer to the deep intercessions that have been going up before the Lord.  It won't happen every day, in every way, but when it does, move over and watch out - God is going to show up in His power and His might, His dominion and His great love.  No one will be able to own this as their ministry, no one will be able to keep it confined to just their movement or denomination. No one will be able to govern it with their sense of order, for the Lord Himself will govern it through His own invested authority.  It will take place when and where you least expect it.  God is going to show up, bring the glory of His brilliance and His holiness and scatter the works of darkness.  

I am sure there is much more to unpack in the reality of "Spontaneous Combustion", but this will at least serve to awaken us to the intent of it.
