From the NE I've had conversations with several Christian women in the past two weeks, all of them ready to give up on their marriages or that they've had the worst disagreement in their married lives. At first I just thought 'Well, it's March, and the weather's been bad.' Then yet another Christian woman wrote me that she was wondering if she could continue on in her marriage.
I responded to her this morning and said "I'm not sure what's up, but I'm seeing it everywhere - and with good, decent, born again, Spirit filled men and women. We're not talking abusive, alcoholic or anything like that. These are leaders in their churches! My advice on this issue, because of the rampant nature of it - is - it's a principality so just press in to the Father's arms and wait it out a little."
Then I received this word this afternoon as confirmation. Vernita Weller said we could pass this alert on that she received this morning. Tim & Vernita Weller pastor New Wine Covenant Church of God in Christ in Vergennes, Vermont.

The enemy is right now placing the IDEA OF DIVORCE IN THE HEARTS OF MANY CHRISTIANS. It is a plot and is designed to take many women and men of God down, and that those who walk through divorce will do so in a cloud of unknowing and will one day wake up and know it was the enemy and their marriages will have ended.
Vernita described the vision that she had this morning on waking. The enemy was standing over couples pressing down on their minds, and trying to influence them with thoughts of discontentment with their spouse such as he/she doesn't love me the way that they used to, she/he doesn't understand me, etc. The enemy was using the same lies that he has always used, but this was a targeted conspiracy to take down couples that had experienced the anointing.
I know I've watched myself be nice to the boss, the co-worker, the store clerk, the bank teller, the pharmacist, every phone call that comes in with every question about events, Then I'm ugly to my husband and daughter 5 minutes later! Come on now. You know what I mean, right?
So, let's do some warfare in the natural. Let's go exactly against that enemy of discontent. Let's make an extra effort this week to honor and bless our spouses.
Run with perseverance the race.
Don't be detoured, side tracked or taken out.
