We stopped at the Post Office and there I found your newsletter. J I also had put the Easter Story Cookie Recipe in our church newsletter. I also liked the input of Psalm 34. I am going to add that to my list! I place my husband, Alan's name as well as my own in scripture to personalize the prayer. I had received a prayer guide at a women's retreat (the author is unknown to me). Daily I pray for purity, protection and power (I Thessalonians 5:23; Revelation 12:11; and Ephesians 6:1-20.) Then every day I pray a prayer covering parts of his body--head, mind, eyes, ears, nose, mouth, bones, heart, arms, hands, legs, knees and feet. I use the computer with daily pop ups of scriptures. It's a help to me to interrupt my busyness with a reminder to pray. I saw that this method was working for me because after the computer crashed so did my pop ups-but not the realization that I need to pray! So I am slowly inputting the prayers again in the computer because that is where I am most days. I want to practice praying without ceasing. I am thankful for your newsletters as they area means to communicate encouragement to others. Keep up the good work! It is not just a cliché. AnnMarie Beckett Oak Harbor, WA
