The Fulfilled Woman

Why am I lacking? Why do I have such a need to be loved? Why doesn't my husband understand that I have needs? I feel like I'm at the bottom of his list and there are days that I don't even feel like I'm on his list….
Why do I feel I am of no value? Why do I feel so alone?
My needs? Companionship …Hugs…Listened to…Understood…
Loved by actions and truth…Encouraged…Recognized…Adored… Blessed... Desired…Precious…Secure…Considered Strong…Special…Valued
CHARACTER OF SAINTS

Is this a good list of how you want your husband to treat you?
Our goal as a child of God is to become the unique and whole person the Lord wants us to become. The goal of each of us is to be conformed to His image (Ro 8:29). Therefore we should be striving to be whole in Him.
Your marriage will only become increasingly successful as you work towards your wholeness in Christ.
No human being can meet your soul needs… but God can supply all your desires.
No human being can meet your daily needs…yet God promises to supply needs as you seek Him.
No human being can give you peace… but in surrender God takes your cares upon Himself.
No human being can meet your spiritual needs…but God feeds your spirit with His truth.
No human being can deeply love you until you love yourself…but God loves you anyway.
No human being can change your darkness into light…but Jesus is the light of your world.
No human being can change your attitude…yet Jesus can through looking at life in a new way.
No human being can love you like God does...ONLY He has grace…unconditional love for you.
No human being can listen to you like God wants to…it is the yearning of His heart to hear His children.
No human being can encourage you like God does… as you listen with your heart.
No human being can change a husband's heart… yet God is able to from within and not by words.
Your husband might be a Saint but he is also working out his salvation and is not a perfect vessel. I hate to break your bubble but he is not and cannot be your fulfillment. There is only one, our Savior, JESUS. Let Him be your bridegroom.
Give your husband a break and don't expect him to be your savior
He honestly does not understand that you need him to be all these things for you, REALLY.
